# Best Espresso Dosing Funnels in 2026: Zero-Spill Portafilter Loading Source: https://coffeebarhub.com/best/best-dosing-funnels Updated: 2026-10-02 Publisher: Coffee Bar Hub. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://coffeebarhub.com/how-we-research#our-score A dosing funnel is a ring or short collar that sits on top of your portafilter basket, extending its walls so grounds land where they should instead of dusting your counter. It is one of those tools you do not appreciate until your first spill-free morning, and it also creates a clean workspace above the basket for WDT distribution and leveling before you tamp. The key is fit. Funnels are sized to specific basket diameters such as 51mm, 53mm, or 58mm, and they attach in different ways: magnetic rings snap on and off quickly, friction-fit collars press over the rim, and threaded or clamp styles lock in for a wobble-free hold. The best choice depends on your basket size, whether you want easy one-handed removal, and how tall a funnel you need for your dose and puck-prep style. This guide compares dosing funnels by basket compatibility, attachment method, wall height, and build quality, so you can load, distribute, and tamp without losing a single gram. Whether you want a quick magnetic ring or a locking funnel for heavy daily use, the picks below are grouped by size and workflow to make matching easy. ## Picks ### 1. 58mm Magnetic Dosing Funnel V2, MATOW Stainless Steel Espresso Dosing Ring with 8 Magnets Compatible with All 58mm Portafilter Our score: 8.4/10 (Fit for the job 9/10 · Features and specs 8/10 · Build and materials 8/10 · Value 8/10) MATOW V2 58mm magnetic dosing funnel in stainless steel, held on by 8 magnets for any 58mm portafilter.
