What we liked
- + Same brand as the filter it replaces, made in the USA from surgical grade woven stainless steel mesh.
- + Listing names a long list of compatible Cuisinart models, including the DCC-1200, DCC-2200 and DCC-2800 series.
- + Washes under running water and is described as dishwasher safe, which removes the need to buy paper cones.
Trade-offs
- - Sold as a single permanent filter, so owners of several brewers need more than one.
- - A metal mesh lets fine sediment through compared with paper, a trade-off with any permanent cone filter.
