What we liked
- + Silicone surface grips the portafilter and absorbs pressure
- + 8" x 6" size gives space for tamper and distribution tools
- + Easy to rinse in the sink or wipe clean after use
Trade-offs
- - Softer silicone feels less solid than dense rubber mats
- - Flat mat does not hold the portafilter at the edge of the counter
