What we liked
- + Neodymium magnets are pressed into the ring with no glue and snap it onto the basket
- + Knurled side edge gives a textured grip for lifting the funnel off after dosing
- + Lets you grind directly into the basket and stir with a WDT tool without spilling grounds
Trade-offs
- - Anodized aluminum, not stainless steel, if you want the heavier feel of a steel ring
- - Made to work with Normcore portafilters, and only generally with other 58mm series portafilters
