What we liked
- + Made for 54mm Breville portafilters, the same brand and size as the cup it replaces.
- + The magnetic bottom holds the cup on the portafilter, and a center rocker lifts to release the grounds.
- + Wide-mouth design suits many grinders and the cup can also be used to weigh beans before grinding.
Trade-offs
- - Priced higher than many plain 54mm dosing cups, so it only pays off if you want the funnel and magnet features.
- - Only fits 54mm baskets, so owners of 58mm machines need a different size.
