What we liked
- + Sized at 58mm for standard 58mm portafilters, so it suits E61-style machines and similar group heads.
- + Aluminum alloy body weighs about 234 to 239 g, and the listing describes smooth, burr-free edges.
- + Includes a lid, so the cup can double as a shaker for distributing grounds before they go into the basket.
Trade-offs
- - Saluaqui is a lesser-known brand and the listing gives no detail on the finish or coating.
- - Aluminum alloy has no walnut or wood accents like the model it replaces, and the listing does not state a dose capacity.
