What we liked
- + Sized for 58mm portafilters, so the needle head sits over the basket instead of being steered freehand
- + Stainless steel needles, which the listing says resist discoloration through repeated use
- + Comes with a base, so the tool has a set place on the counter between shots
Trade-offs
- - The listing does not state the needle count or needle diameter, so how fine the needles are is unknown
- - 58mm only, so it will not suit 54mm Breville or 51mm baskets
