What we liked
- + Press-and-rotate action turns the 8 needles through the coffee bed, so the stir pattern repeats shot to shot
- + Built-in magnets in the base hold the tool on the portafilter basket while it turns
- + Needle depth is adjustable to match different basket capacities and doses
Trade-offs
- - 8 needles is fewer than the 13 or 14 found on pricier rotary distributors
- - The listing does not give the needle diameter or name the body material
